QuickBoot’s are just like the shortcut files on your PC, all you need to do is tell them what they are pointing to.
Once you have created a QuickBoot and copied it to your 360, it will show up on the dash, so you will no longer need to use a launcher to boot homebrew.
Download QuickBoot v1.2 from xbins: /XBOX 360/dashboards/QuickBoot/
Read XeDev – QuickBoot.nfo
Read it again.
Run QuickBoot.exe
Enter whatever Title and Description you want.
Enter the location of the file on your 360 that you are creating the shortcut for, in this example…
Hdd:\Emus\FBAnext\FBA360.xex
Choose the type of short cut you want. I chose to create mine as a Game Demo, so it’s quicker to find in NXE
Give it an icon by clicking on the existing icon, this should be a .png of 16KB or less and exactly 64×64 pixels.
Click Build QuickBoot
Enter any name you want. (in this case, FBAnext_QuickBoot wouldn’t be a bad idea)
Click Save.
Copy the file you have just crated to your 360…
